Another trick--although it's equal parts inspiration and procrastination--is creating cover art for my books. I keep thinking I'd like to offer my services as a cover artist to more people, but I just don't have time to get an entirely new business off the ground right now. I've done the majority of my covers--NOT the anthologies, not the first Children of Night series, not the cover for This Winter Heart, or the one for Spicy Nick.
