Romance Writers Weekly ~ Where Do You Live? ~ #LoveChatWrite

This week, on the Romance Writers Weekly blog hop, we're asked the question: "Why do you live where you do? How long have you lived there?"

That's something of a loaded question, actually. I hate moving. I don't even like thinking about it. And yet I've moved 22 times in the past 45 years. I've lived in six different states, was born and raised in New Jersey and consider California home.

Currently, however, I live in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. I've been here for about a year and a half. My husband and I moved here shortly after our son and his family did so that we could be close to our grandson.

I'm still adjusting.

Now, hop on over to Leslie Hachtel's page and learn where she lives and why. And don't forget to check out her book, Stay With Me.

A 2023 NEST winner in paranormal!

Two women. Years apart. Linked by common experience and a cottage that has survived since the Civil War.

Evelyn Smith has changed her name and is running from an abusive husband. She buys a cottage in Florida that has its own history, only to experience an attraction to the previous owner.

Rebecca Faber has rescued a Yankee soldier and fallen in love, but circumstances have forced her to marry an evil man who killed her father.

When Rebecca reaches out from the past, Evelyn finds it life changing.

And in their own times, each must discover strength and fight to find and keep true love.

LA Love Lessons

An aspiring actress searches for her leading man; an amnesiac heiress seeks clues to her true identity; and a tarnished movie star finds love and acceptance in the last place she ever expected. Love like this could only happen in LA.

Also check out the LA Love Lessons/Oberon Crossover novella, Going to the Chapel.

IWaiting For The Big One, Gabby and Derek went from being friends to being lovers. Now, they're waiting for their "big day". But will it be the wedding of their dreams? Or a bride's worst nightmare?

A quick trip to Gabby's hometown turns into the wedding from hell when Gabby and Derek are plagued by hailstorms, lost reservations, voracious goats, angry bees and enough family drama to fill a barn.

Guess it's true what they say, "The course of true love never did run smooth." But can the happy couple hold it all together, or will their Big Day turn into a Big Mess?

***A different version of this book was previously released as part of the Sapphire Falls Kindle World program.***
