This week, on the Romance Writers Weekly blog hop, we're asked, "The festive food season is upon us! Share your favorite holiday recipe."
Well, this is always a tough question for me since I have so many favorites. Here's a relatively recent one. My daughter-in-law grew up in the UK, so Thanksgiving has been something of a culinary learning curve for all of us. My favorite new acquisition is Sticky Toffee Pudding. It's made with dates! Which I've always loved. And served drowning in caramel sauce...which, I mean, does it get any better?
Unfortunately, I've moved several times since I started making it, so I don't have a regular recipe for it. I did--two moves ago--but now I rely on whatever recipe I find online. Also, I sometimes add whiskey to my caramel sauce, because why not?
