Release Day for Spicy Nick!

As I think I mentioned last week, I try to do something fun for my readers every year around the holidays. This year, I’m releasing a different winter-and/or-holiday-themed story every Sunday in December.

Today’s release is called Spicy Nick, which is releasing as part of The Naughty List. When I saw the covers for the series, I was intrigued, but I really didn’t need to add another Christmas book to my WIP pile. Then I saw the title, and I knew I had to grab it, even though I had no idea what the story would be about, other than that it would feature Nick Greco, the hero from my very first published book, Scent of the Roses

As it happened, I had a short Christmas story featuring Scout (Nick’s wife) all written and ready for re-release (it had first appeared in a fun holiday anthology called Holiday Kisses). If Only in my Dreams sends Scout on an “It’s a Wonderful Life” style adventure to an alternative version of Oberon.

In essence, Spicy Nick is the sequel to that story—and answers the question, what happens when Scout returns to ordinary reality?

So why is Spicy Nick releasing a week earlier than If Only in my Dreams?  Well, that’s easy. I’m an “eat dessert first” type of person. I didn’t want to make readers wait an entire week to find out “what happens next?”

Anyway, I’m very excited about this release. It’s the first all-new Christmas story I’m releasing this year, and I think it’s even sweeter, cheesier and sappier (and I mean that in all the best ways!) than last year’s release, Christmas Angel. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

As I mentioned above, Spicy Nick is part of “The Naughty List”. You can read all about that here: https://amzn.to/3Zeof11

It’s beginning to look a lot like NIX-mas!

Nick Greco is getting worried. His wife has never been a big fan of the holiday season, but this year she seems more distant than ever before. In fact, the last time that he can remember seeing her this distracted was right before their wedding—when she tried to back out of marrying him.

Can you get cold feet after the fact? Is Scout feeling overwhelmed by the holidays? Or underwhelmed by…gulp…him?

Whatever the cause, Nick has a plan. He’s going to spice up their marriage and put the heat back in the holidays. And when he’s done, Scout won’t be saying, “Bah Humbug!” She’ll be saying, “ho, ho…OH!”
