I can't recall which book I was working on when I first started using this song as music to write to. I suppose it might have been Sound of a Voice that is Still, which is very marine-life heavy. But it was perfect while I was writing about Coilin and Saoirse in Somewhere Beyond the Sea (out now as part of the Mermaids and Sirens Collection!).
I only learned recently that this is a cover of a song that was originally done by c group called the Waterboys. I'm sorry to say it, but I like this version a little better. It's got a bit more pep to it.
